hey all you losers, hey hey
on saturday christina and i drove an hour or so to westport ma to eat at a donut shop (Butler's Colonial) we saw on phantom gourmet. when we arrived, no one was in the parking lot and there was a sign on the door: "we have moved! go to (whatever the address was) and mention that you came here to get a 10% discount". so we pull out the atlas from the backseat and spend another half hour/hour finding the new location. we pull in and there is another sign: "new summer hours: 9-7 mon-sat, 9-5 sunday. SORRY NO DONUTS, Baker on vacation". we ended up eating at dunkin donuts. i suppose it was all for the best, anyway, as they apparently do not make cream donuts during the summer because they use fresh cream and it goes bad pretty much instantly. i finished my co-op, and as such no longer live in nashua. i now live with christina in somahville. i work at the library at northeastern again, and ride my bike there pretty much every day. the left pedal on my fixie stuck up and unscrewed itself when i was mass ave the other day, and the extra pedals i have are the wrong size. unfortunately, i am feeling pretty lazy so it might be a while until i fix that. i hung out with andrew w.k. the other night; he is a cool dude. i have yet to go bowling in boston. | | Sunday, June 1st, 2008 | | 9:19 pm |

There is a mountain of snow, up past the big glen We have a castle enclosed, there is a fountain Out of the fountain flows gold, into a huge hand That hand is held by a bear who had a sick band Of ghosts and cats And pigs and bats With brooms and bats And wigs and rats And play big dogs like queens and kings And everyone plays drums and sings About big sharks Sharp swords Beast bees Bead lords Sweet cakes Maste lakes O ma ma ma ma ma ma ma ma ps life is good; done moving in 27 days; the economy is going to shit and we are all going to die within a decade | | Tuesday, February 19th, 2008 | | 8:10 pm |

wait...did i just hear you say "Thank God it's fatal"?
<br>the livejournal question of the day is what do you want to be when you "grow up". they put the quotes in, not me. what does that even mean? does that mean that we will never grow up? we will get old, but act like children? no wonder, as Vice put it, "America's a permanent kindergarten". i'm doing my part; i'm already an old man. okay, so your heart only gets a certain amount of beats and then you die (providing you dont get a fake one installed), right? so if i eat enough bacon and butter now so that it skips a few beats here and there, that means im adding time to my life, correct? life goals (no order): - sail to antarctica; reach south pole.
- own cranberry farm.
- design new type of train, then operate said train (thus becoming an engineer in both senses).
- own record store.
- write exactly one song that will be remembered positively decades after my death.
- party hard.

holy diver you've been down too long in the midnight sea my roommate let his dirty jersey trash friends sleep on my bed and use my fucking blankets and throw their dirty laundry all over my desk. fuck business majors, fuck new jersey, fuck sharing an apartment with random assholes who have no common courtesy. my dog knocked over my external hard drive today so i can no longer view my complete futurama series, all weeds episodes, all of planet earth, the first two seasons of always sunny in philadelphia, etc. luckily all my music was on my ipod. hopefully i can get all the data off the drive somehow. in other news it was a fun weekend and next weekend looks just the same if not even better. but be careful where you walkin when you swingin them hips livejournal let me know its been 16 weeks since my last update. so, here's what i've been doing. i'm still dating christina because she is still letting me. i enjoy her company a lot and she puts up with me even though i am boring and cheap and never take her anywhere. she is a nurse and i am an engineer. i am a full year into my bachelor's in mechanical engineering, and it's tough shit. my classes use tons of math and physics, but i like it. i am also getting a minor in history which i am 50% complete. i work at the library in the federal documents section, doing random clerical shit. i still work at market basket over summer and on christmas break. i am now a grocery clerk there. i don't do much outside of school/work/christina because i am attempting to save money because i have less than $100 in my account (it will be more once i start getting my paychecks). this financial situation is directly related to northeastern university not allowing me to withdraw my book money from my scholarship. i like to ride my bike everywhere. i have two, my mom's 1999 specialized hardrock fs (that i put road tires on) and a schwinn caliente (somewhere around 1980). the caliente is far too big for me but i ride it more often because it allows for full leg extension on the downstroke, providing more bang for my buck. i am going on co-op next semester (january 1 until june 28), after which i am planning on getting an apartment (hopefully with christina) and permanently moving out of 4 lakeside ave. i still listen to a lot of music but i am far slower at picking up new bands. if anyone has the full Black Kids cd s/he should probably send it to me. my dad is going to iraq in november before thanksgiving, i think. i am slightly worried for him, however he is a pilot so he has a better chance than the people on foot. i went to my cousin's wedding the first weekend in september, and realized i have a large extended family, the majority of which are cooler than i remember. i live in roxbury and have never been mugged, threatened, shot, stabbed, etc. i think that is everything anyone needed to know about me. if you need more, just ask. even though we aint got nothing to do the new hampshire house of reps passed a bill to ban all smoking from all resturaunts, and the govener said he would definitely sign it, so by the end of the summer (approximately) there will be no more smoking in dennys. way to drop the fucking ball nh. also the senate was supposed to vote on the mandatory seat belt law today. hopefully that one didn't pass.
